All proceeds from the event will be donated to Fallstaff Elementary Middle School, a dedicated local Baltimore City school, to support their Outdoor Space Rehabilitation project, including the creation of an outdoor learning space and a gardening area.
Fallstaff Elementary/Middle School, a Title I school located in Northwest Baltimore City, is home to approximately 530 students, grades Pre-K to 8. Over the past three years, the school has welcomed a rapidly growing number of Spanish-speaking students. Fallstaff not only offers an ESOL program but also provides a Gifted and Advanced learning program, honors courses, and a Robotics team.
The school’s green program, spearheaded by the dedicated Green Team, focuses on initiatives such as rain collection systems, vermiculture, and community composting. Fallstaff is eagerly planning to expand its efforts towards transforming their community’s way of living, eating, and thriving through their green initiatives.
By participating in this event, you will contribute to Fallstaff’s mission of creating a greener environment for its students and fostering a culture of sustainability within the local community.
